Football Betting - Blackburn Rovers Odds Affected By Outbreak?
Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has revealed his concerns that key influential players struck down by an illness could miss the club's upcoming game against Manchester United on Saturday (October 31st). David Dunn and Christopher Samba were both missing from the Rovers line-up this weekend because of the virus, with the side getting thrashed 5-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Allardyce said: "A couple of the other lads have that virus or we think are coming down with it."
According to the former Bolton coach, while he hopes the squad will be at full fitness in time for the match at Old Trafford, it is possible that the bug may rule them out for up to six days.
Punters looking to take advantage of this news may wish to place a bet on Manchester United, with Skybet(Go to Skybet ») offering odds of 1/6 for a home win.
Betdaq(Go to Betdaq ») has Blackburn at 20/1 for those who believe the team are still going to come out on top.
