Fergie Confirms Return Of Centre-backs
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that a number of injured Manchester United players will be available for selection soon, including much-needed centre-backs. The Reds coach confirmed that both Jonny Evans and Rio Ferdinand are expected back relatively quickly.
He remarked: "Jonny actually has been training but he just felt a tight hamstring during training the other day so we've had to put him on the easy list for a couple of days."
Also returning to the squad are Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Anderson, he added, while John O'Shea and Nani are likely to take a little longer.
United face Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford tomorrow (November 30th) and Ferguson noted that it is important to have some of his influential players fit again.
The home side are 2/9 favourites at a number of bookmakers, including Stan James(Go to Stan James »), while the Latics are considered heavy underdogs with Betdaq(Go to Betdaq ») offering odds as long as 20/1 on them winning.
Those looking to bet on the draw can put money at 5/1 with Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet »).
