Ronaldo: I May Return To Man U
Portuguese playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed a move back to Manchester United might not be out of the question.Ronaldo, who left Old Trafford for Real Madrid in the summer transfer window last year for £80 million, told the News of the World that he misses the friends he made during his six-year stint with the club.
He remarked: "I am still interested in watching Manchester United and, you never know, maybe in the future I could return to play there. It's always possible."
According to the 25-year-old, he still keeps in contact with former teammates Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic.
Commenting on England's chances of winning the World Cup this year, Ronaldo said there is no reason why they should not be able to, considering the quality of their players.
England are currently 5/1 with Sportingbet(Go to Sportingbet ») to win the tournament, while Totesport(Go to Totesport ») considers Portugal a longer shot at 28/1.
