Ferdinand And Vidic To Return For Manchester United?
Manchester United could be boosted by the return of both Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic as they look to get their Premier League title defence back on track.Sir Alex Ferguson's men recorded a major Champions League victory over AC Milan last Tuesday, before suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Everton at the weekend.
However, with Ferdinand's suspension at an end and Vidic expected to make a return from injury, the champions are strong favourites to return to winning ways when they welcome West Ham to Old Trafford tonight.
Blue Square(Go to Blue Square ») prices the hosts at 1/5, with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») offering odds of 16/1 that the Hammers will be victorious.
Sir Alex has described the game as a "massive" one for the club, as the loss at Goodison Park gave leaders Chelsea the initiative.
"Teams have dropped points you don't expect them to drop, but the very nature of the league suggests we still have a good chance," he told MUTV.
