King Johns Castle to return early
King Johns Castle - runner-up at the 2008 Grand National - could be set to return to the race this year.It was thought the grey would miss the event due to a tendon injury, but trainer Arthur Moore has revealed that he is recovering quicker than expected. He is set to have his first run since finishing second at Aintree last year as he has an entry in Navan's Athboy Hurdle this weekend. However, Moore explained that the ground will determine whether or not he actually competes, as heavy conditions may mean he waits another seven days."Obviously we're pleased he came back to himself quicker than expected and everything seems fine with him," said the trainer, adding: "The main objective is just to get a run into him."Last year's Grand National was won by Comply or Die and horse racing betting fans can currently get odds of 25/1 for King Johns Castle with online bookmakers.
