Fame and Glory tipped for Derby success
Fame and Glory's odds of winning the Epsom Derby have come in following victory in the Ballysax Stakes. William Hill immediately changed its price for the Aidan O'Brien-trained horse from 16/1 to 10/1, although that has since been shortened to 6/1.However, Crowded House remains slight favourite for the June 6th Classic in the online horse racing betting market, with Sportingbet offering punters 5/1.Commenting on Fame and Glory's success, William Hill spokesperson Kate Miller noted that the Ballysax Stakes has always been a good indicator of the strength of the Ballydoyle candidates for the Derby."Fame and Glory has proved no exception to this theory with an authoritative performance and he may just be the one to beat," she said. The best price available for the horse is currently 7/1, while Sea the Stars and Rip Van Winkle are now rated at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively by Victor Chandler.
