O'Shea hopes for more winners

Jockey Tadhg O'Shea has commended Ouqba after the horse won the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot today and hinted that he hoped there would be more victories in his own future.O'Shea said the colt was a "pleasure to ride" and showed determination in his half-a-length win over second-placed Deposer. "Hopefully this is the first of many Royal Ascot winners for me … he was spot on for today, he is a very tough horse and he deserved that," he remarked. The victory represented owner Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's second Jersey Stakes win, despite the Barry Hill-trained Ouqba being his second runner.
