Ghanaati in 'great form'

Ghanaati is in excellent condition for the Coronation Stakes and will be looking to win, according to her trainer's assistant. Charlie Hill, who is also trainer Barry Hill's son, has confirmed they are pleased with the filly's overall shape. He said: "We are very happy with her and she is in great form. Her weight is very good and the plan is to go for the Coronation Stakes."Winner of the recent 1,000 Guineas, the daughter of Giant's Causeway also came first by six lengths at a Kempton maiden as a juvenile. She will take part in the Group One race at Royal Ascot on Friday June 19th. Betfair (Go to Betfair ») currently has Ghanaati as a 13/12 favourite to come first in the Coronation Stakes. Elusive Wave, ridden by recent Prix du Jockey Club victor Christophe Lemaire, is available at 27/10 with Betdaq (Go to Betdaq »). Lemaire recently complimented the character of Elusive Wave, describing her as a "fighter".
