Horse Racing Odds - Oxx Betting On Sea The Stars
John Oxx has stated that there are few challengers to Sea The Stars winning the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe if he runs. After seeing trials for the race at Longchamp on Sunday (September 13th), the trainer noted that soft round is likely to be the biggest obstacle for the multiple Group One victor, At The Races reports.
He remarked: "There was no outstanding performance [at the trials] that would make you think you've seen a horse that has shown dramatic improvement."
While Oxx admitted that the actual race will be a different story, he reinforced his opinion that none of the horses had leapt out as a contender.
If the ground is soft, the trainer added, then Sea The Stars will not race on the day and will instead be pushed for the Champion Stakes at Newmarket or the Breeders Cup.
Those looking to put money on the horse can find him as the favourite with Betfred(Go to Betfred ») at 6/4.
William Hill(Go to William Hill ») considers Fame and Glory as most likely to challenge at 4/1.
