Horse Racing Betting News - Sea The Stars 'possible For Breeders' Cup'

Sea The Stars could add to his six Group One victories by entering next month's Breeders' Cup Classic in the US, according to his trainer.

John Oxx failed to commit on whether the horse would run, but confirmed his belief that the colt would love the track conditions across the Atlantic.

He remarked: "My gut instinct is that after the hard season the horse has had, with six races in six months, America is probably a step too far but we haven't ruled it out."

Sunday (October 4th) saw the 2,000 Guineas winner claim the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France and Oxx stated that the horse made it back in good condition.

A decision on whether he will run will be made in around 14 days, the trainer concluded.

Early odds for the Breeders' Cup Classic has Sea The Stars as an evens favourite with Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power »), while 9/4 odds at 888Sport(Go to 888sport ») for Aidan O'Brien's Rip Van Winkle could attract some punters.
