Horse Racing Betting - Well Chief Set For Creek
Well Chief's chances of success at the Tingle Creek Chase will be boosted by the absence of Master Minded. This is according to trainer David Pipe, who told At the Races that competition will be less tough with Paul Nicholls's horse missing out.
Well Chief secured a win at Cheltenham recently and Mr Pipe said it was "great" to see him secure the victory and get a good reception from the crowd.
However, Well Chief came back from the event with a cut and Mr Pipe admitted that this has "held us up a bit" in preparation for the race a week on Saturday.
"We are hoping to get him to the Tingle Creek at Sandown," he remarked.
Well Chief is currently second favourite to win the race on December 5th, priced at 3/1 with Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») and Stan James(Go to Stan James »).
Big Zeb is favoured most by the bookmakers, who both price him at 5/4.
