George: Nacarat Is In Great Form
Nacarat is in excellent shape at the moment and is looking healthy in his bid to retain his Racing Post Chase title next month, according to Tom George. The trainer noted that the horse, which gave Kauto Star a challenge in the recent King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, has been unhampered by the current weather conditions.
"He has spent the last ten days swimming and is in absolutely flying form at the moment," the handler added.
George went on to say that other runners may be struggling currently, so now could be the perfect time to get Nacarat on the track.
Scheduled for February 27th, the Racing Post Chase is the bold jumping grey's primary target, he added, but there is a chance he may be given a go before then "as he is so well".
Those looking to put money on Nacarat can find him as a 151/1 outsider at WBX(Go to WBX ») for the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham, a race in which Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») has Poquelin as a 4/1 favourite.
