Twist 'hoping For Magic' In Victor Chandler Chase

Bookmakers have Twist Magic as the favourite to romp home first in the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot at the weekend.

Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») and Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») both have the horse at 5/4 to secure the title at the Berkshire track on Saturday (January 23rd).

Twist Magic tasted victory in his last outing at the Tingle Creek Chase and will be looking to land consecutive Group One wins.

Nicky Henderson-trained Petit Robin is also hotly tipped at 9/4 and featured impressively at Kempton during the festive season, with runner-up of that event - Well Chief - in the line-up as well.

Four other runners are due to take part, including Exeter champion Oh Crick, Fix the Rib, Cornas, Lennon and unfancied Kinkeel.
