McCoy Set To Ride Can't Buy Time
The odds on Can't Buy Time to win the Grand National are set to be slashed after it became increasingly likely that Tony McCoy will ride it.Already a 14-time champion jockey, McCoy has yet to taste victory in the big race and Frank Berry, JP McManus' race manager, revealed that he is likely to be on one of the four mounts he has in the field.
"Nothing is written in stone, but I think Tony will ride one of Jonjo's [O'Neill] horses," he said. "It's more than likely Tony will ride Can't Buy Time."
The horse is 25/1 to succeed with Totesport(Go to Totesport ») , while the favourite remains Big Fella Thanks, with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») offering odds of 41/5 for the win.
Another charge that is attracting a lot of attention is defending champion Mon Mome, who recently came home third in the Gold Cup.
He can be backed at 11/1 with Stan James(Go to Stan James »), with Aidan Coleman taking over duties in the saddle.
