Ireland team kept the same for Italy clash

Declan Kidney has elected not to make any modifications to his Ireland team ahead of this weekend's Six Nations match-up with Italy. The coach and his side head to Rome for Sunday's game full of confidence following their 30-21 victory over France on Saturday and he suggested that last week's win did have some bearing on his decision."On the balance of everything I felt it was best to go with the team the way it was because it had done well," he remarked. It had been suggested in some quarters that Gordon D'Arcy may step in for Paddy Wallace at centre due to his late try against France that ensured them victory, but Kidney decided to stick with the same opening line-up.Ireland are big favourites to win the match on Sunday in the Rugby Union betting, with their performance last week in stark contrast to how well Italy played in their 36-11 defeat to England at Twickenham.
