Tigers tipped for Guinness Premiership success

Bookmakers are tipping Leicester Tigers to win the Guinness Premiership, after finishing top of the table in the regular season.A stunning 73-3 win at home to relegated Bristol ensured the Tigers clinched the top spot and they are now 11/10 favourites with Stan James to go on and take the title. They will face Bath in the play-offs in a repeat of a recent Heineken Cup quarter-final, after Steve Meehan's side finished fourth with a 33-18 win over Saracens. And the other semi-final will be a battle of London sides, with title second favourites Harlequins hosting London Irish. The exiles secured a bonus-point 32-15 win on the road against Worcester Warriors, but Quins also gained the extra point in a 31-12 win at home to Newcastle Falcons to grant them second place and home advantage.Punters can now get odds of 11/4 with Coral Betting that Harlequins will win the final, with London Irish 4/1 and Bath the outsiders at 6/1.
