Leicester's White to miss Heineken Cup clash

Leicester Tigers are to be without Julian White for the next two weeks after he was handed a ban.The veteran was sent off for punching fellow England international prop Andrew Sheridan during the Tigers' 37-31 win over Sale Sharks on Saturday.Effective from yesterday, the ban will see White miss this weekend's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Bath, as well as the Guinness Premiership trip to Saracens on April 19th.However, there had been fears that the disciplinary panel would impose a stricter punishment - perhaps ruling him out for the rest of the season - after picking up his fourth red card in seven years.Meanwhile, Bath have been boosted by the news that South African fly-half Butch James will be available for Saturday's encounter. He appeared before the committee after being cited for an alleged stamp on Wasps' Riki Flutey, but was cleared of the charges.Leicester are 4/7 favourites for the match with Sportingbet, with the bookmaker giving the visitors odds of 7/4.
