Leicester 'must get better' to clinch Heineken Cup
Leicester Tigers will have to improve if they are to repeat their domestic success in Europe next weekend, head coach Richard Cockerill has warned. The Tigers clinched the Guinness Premiership title with a narrow 10-9 final win over London Irish at Twickenham, having topped the table at the end of the regular season. And they are set to face Leinster in the Heineken Cup final at Murrayfield on Saturday, a match for which they are 8/11 favourites with 888 Sport .Cockerill noted that he was pleased with the win - particularly as he believes it was deserved "over the balance of the year" - but added that the performance was "poor" and work will need to be done if Leicester are to complete the double."If we play like that we won't beat Leinster. They're probably a better side than Irish with more world-class players," he said.Bookmakers appear to believe there is little between the two teams, with Leinster given odds of 10/11 by Stan James.
