O'Driscoll confident of victory in second Test

Brian O'Driscoll denies that the 26-21 defeat to the South Africans in Durban last weekend has had an effect on the British & Irish Lions' confidence leading into the second Test match of the rugby union tour. The Irish Grand Slam skipper said that it is important they do not give the Springboks an early advantage. He stated: "We need to start playing earlier in the first half this time, cut off the Springboks and make them work for their scores a little bit more."With only two matches remaining, the Lions need to beat the South Africans in Pretoria tomorrow to have a chance of winning the series. The home team are 2/7 favourites at bookmakers Totesport (Go to Totesport ») to win on Saturday, which would secure them the tour victory with one game left to play. WBX (Go to WBX ») offers odds of 5/2 on the visiting side being victorious and taking the series to a decider.
