O'Driscoll: It was a good performance
Stand-in captain Brian O'Driscoll has commended the British & Irish Lions' victory over the Golden Lions, but has hinted that there are still areas that could be improved. O'Driscoll, who scored a try in the Lions' 74-10 victory over the South African side, stated there was a "good buzz" about the squad. "It was a good performance and we will enjoy that. We will put our heads back down tomorrow and try to iron out the few creases there are still in our game," he said. The Lions' captain also noted Jamie Roberts' game as being "particularly positive" after the Welsh centre scored twice. Other players to get on the scoreboard included Ugo Monye and Tom Croft in a win that saw the Lions notch up ten tries. South Africa are still favourites to win the Test series with Boyle Sports offering odds of 2/5. Sportingbet gives the Lions odds of 12/5 and a drawn series at 33/1.
