Henson: I'm not ready to retire
Gavin Henson has refuted speculation that he is ready to retire from rugby union due to disillusionment with the game.Despite being hampered by injuries, the Welsh centre stated that he has "absolutely no intention" of quitting after meeting with Ospreys officials. He said: "I'm receiving the best medical care to help me address the injury problem and I'm sure that I'll be able to put it behind me in the very near future."The 27-year-old did admit that he was disappointed to miss the British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa and sometimes wondered whether he was cursed. Performances in games remain a problem, he remarked, with fitness being hampered by a persistent groin strain. Leading up to the European Cup, the Ospreys can currently be found at 18/1 with Victor Chandler (Go to VCBet ») to win the tournament. Bet365 (Go to Bet365 ») consider Munster to be the favourites and offer odds of 7/2.
