Rugby Union - Bath 'betting On New Coach To Boost Kicking'
Bath Rugby have appointed a new kicking coach in the form of Rowly Williams.The level four RFU coach joins the Premiership team after three seasons with Wigan Warriors and has experience working at the highest level of domestic rugby union, having been part of the Wasps set up when they won their hat-trick of championships between 2002 and 2005.
Head coach Steve Meehan told the club's official website: "Rowly is a welcome addition to Bath Rugby.
"He has a history of being involved with winning teams and I'm sure that experience will rub off in a positive way."
Bath dominated English rugby union in the early 1990s but have not won a league title since 1996.
They are 9/1 at 888Sport(Go to 888sport ») to end the drought with a Grand Final victory this year, which puts them among the top five favourites.
Reigning champions Leicester are expected to retain their crown, with Skybet(Go to Skybet ») making them available at 2/1.
