Newcastle Guinness Premiership Odds 'receive Fitness Boost'

Jimmy Gopperth, Danny Williams and Micky Young have all been declared fit for the Newcastle Falcons ahead of their Guinness Premiership clash against Harlequins tonight.

The team have lost one and drawn two from their opening games this season, leaving them tenth in the table, but director of rugby Steve Bates said he was optimistic about their chances of doing better with these players back in the side

He told the club's official website: "We're going out there with the very positive mindset that we're going to put them under a lot of pressure, but we're also mindful that it's going to be a massive physical contest against a dangerous side."

Quins have got off to the worst start of all the teams in the Premiership this season and sit at the bottom of the table with one point having lost three straight matches.

However, they are still expected to do better than Newcastle as the title chase unfolds and are priced as 25/1 eighth favourites to win the Grand Final at William Hill(Go to William Hill »).

Newcastle are the tenth favourites at 100/1 with Blue Square(Go to Blue Square »).
