Rugby Union Betting Odds - Quins To Lose Botha

South Africa hooker Gary Botha will be leaving the Guinness Premiership team Harlequins to reunite with his old club the Blue Bulls in his home country.

The 27-year old will play his last game for Quins against visitors Bath on Saturday, with the home side a 13/16 favourite with bookmaker Betfair(Go to Betfair »).

A former player for the Bulls, Botha left the squad for England after the World Cup in 2007, but is now set to return after signing a two-year contract with the South African team.

Commenting on his time in the UK, he said: "The game is different in the northern hemisphere and it was good to experience something of it, but I can't wait to pull on the Bulls jersey."

Botha left Quins earlier this week, with head coach John Kingston noting that he was "saddened" to lose such "an integral part" of the team's recent success.

Those who think Botha's departure will have no effect on the London-based side can put money on them reaching this year's playoffs, with Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») offering odds of 9/2.
