Rugby Union Betting Odds - Leeds Favourites For Relegation
Leeds Carnegie remain bottom of the table and favourites for relegation in the Guinness Premiership after losing 26-10 to Gloucester at the weekend. After failing to win a game this season, the rugby union side are currently 1/16 at Betfred(Go to Betfred ») to be demoted by the end of the campaign.
Director of rugby at the struggling club Andy Key said that while the performance of the team was commendable, they had been affected by a large amount of errors.
He remarked: "We were very confident that we had the gameplan to execute the win but we made far, far too many mistakes in the second half."
After going ahead in the first half through a Tom Denton try, Leeds suffered a number of setbacks including a disallowed try and two of their men being sinbinned.
Gloucester pulled the game back and were in the lead by the 54th minute, with the Cherry and Whites now a 16/1 shot to win the Guinness Premiership with Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes »).
