Rugby Union Betting - New Zealand 'not Unbeatable'
Warren Gatland has said that New Zealand are not the team they once were ahead of their clash with his Wales side this weekend. The coach, who played for the All Blacks during the late 1980s and early 1990s, stated that there used to be an invincible aura around the team, but that has now gone.
"When you put the jersey on, you felt there was no chance of losing," he remarked, indicating that the Kiwis' failure to win the World Cup since 1987 is a factor in the change.
Despite Gatland's comments, however, New Zealand have continued to prove formidable against Wales and are unbeaten against them since 1953.
Last year, they triumphed again at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, defeating the home side 29-9.
Wales are 4/1 at Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») to finally get a victory over the southern hemisphere side this weekend, while the All Blacks are 1/5 to win at Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes »).
