Rugby Union Betting - "Nuisance" Smith To Affect England Odds?
England's odds of claiming an autumn international win over Australia may be even longer with George Smith's assertion that he will frustrate play. The Wallabies forward is set to play Saturday's (November 7th) match in Twickenham, making it his 107th Test appearance for the team during his career.
Smith said that his antics at the breakdown are just one of his "key jobs".
He remarked: "You don't want the opposition team to get quick ball, making a nuisance of yourself at the breakdown is what number sevens do."
According to the 30-year-old, England are not to be underestimated and he pointed to the skills of Jordan Crane and Tom Croft.
Tomorrow's contest will also see the return of England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson, who scored the World Cup-winning drop-goal against Australia in 2003.
The visitors are currently the favourites at 4/9 with Totesport(Go to Totesport »), while William Hill(Go to William Hill ») is offering odds of 11/8 for an England victory.
