Rugby Union Betting - Moody: England Need To Improve
England flanker Lewis Moody has called for the team to make "big strides" if they are to put up a show against the New Zealand All Blacks next weekend. It is almost a year since England entertained the All Blacks at Twickenham - and fell to a 32-6 defeat.
Now Moody claims that there is some way to go before the team can be seen as ready for a repeat of the fixture.
"We have big strides to make before the New Zealand game," says Moody.
Against Argentina at Twickenham on Saturday, England were able to secure victory.
However, this was only by virtue of a late try from Matt Banahan, which took the final score to 16-9.
But Moody adds that "you can't take away the impact a win makes - it gives you that bit more confidence going into training".
New Zealand remain the favourites to win the match against England, at odds of 1/10 on the Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») website.
England, meanwhile, can be found at up to 7/1 on Betfair(Go to Betfair »), which offers 41/1 on the possibility of a draw.
