Rugby Union Betting - Leamy Could Be Fit For SA
Ireland's rugby team may have back-row Denis Leamy fit for their clash with world champions South Africa at Croke Park on Saturday.Leamy was injured in the 41-6 win over Fiji at the weekend but x-rays and scans of his ankle have revealed the damage was not as bad as first suspected, making him a possible contender to face the Springboks.
The IRFU said that the Munster player is undergoing rehabilitation and has not been ruled out of contention for the game.
Coach Declan Kidney has added nine players to the squad that trounced the south sea islanders, including Tommy Bowe, Darren Cave, Ronan O'Gara and David Wallace.
Both Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») and Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») have South Africa 4/6 to win the game, while Ireland are 5/4 and 6/5 with the same two bookmakers respectively.
Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») give the shortest odds (18/1) against another draw after the 20-all tie with Australia earlier this month.
