Rugby Union Betting - Cracknell 'excited' About Worcester Contract
Chris Cracknell has said he is delighted to be joining Worcester Warriors on a new contract until the end of the season. The 25-year-old stated he is "very excited" to have finalised the deal so that he can start playing with his teammates.
He remarked: "I'm just looking forward to joining up with the boys and meeting all the staff and settling in."
According to the Windsor-born back row, he is particularly keen to compete alongside Mike Ruddock, who he has "heard lots of positive things about".
The former Bath Rugby athlete revealed that fellow squad member Jake Abbot had endorsed the Warriors as a great club when the two were away on England Sevens action.
Both players are expected to be back at Sixways today (December 14th) after international duty in Dubai and South Africa.
Despite the signing of Cracknell, the Warriors remain close to the bottom of the Guinness Premiership table, with Ladbrokes(Go to Ladbrokes ») offering odds of 500/1 that they will win this season.
Bettors may instead be enticed to take 9/1 odds with Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») that they will finish last.
