Stephen Jones Injury Not Serious, Says Scarlets Coach
Stephen Jones should not be out for long with the shoulder injury he sustained as his Scarlets side defeated Newport Gwent Dragons 14-9 in the Magners League. At least this is according to coach Nigel Davies, who suggested it is only a minor knock.
"He took a bit of a bang on his a/c joint, I don't think it's anything too serious," he remarked.
Jones himself told BBC Sport after the game that his shoulder was "OK" and it is expected that he will be able to make his return for the Llanelli team when they take on London Irish in the Heineken Cup on January 17th.
However, the influential fly-half will miss this weekend's big Magners League fixture against Munster, who are the second favourites to win the Grand Final this season at 2/1 with Betfred(Go to Betfred »).
Scarlets are available at 100/1 to take the 2010 title at Stan James(Go to Stan James »).
