Paul Sackey Joins Toulon
Wasps player Paul Sackey has confirmed that he will be leaving the club to join Toulon once the season is over. He penned a two-year contract with the Top 14 side, but he admitted to Sky Sports News that it was the "hardest decision" he has ever had to make in his career.
"My heart is in Wasps and I will always support the club," he said. "I have spent some great years here and my heart is here."
However, the 30-year-old added that the opportunities he has been offered were "too good to ignore".
It follows a string of Wasps players who have left to join the French league over the last year, including Riki Flutey, Tom Palmer and James Haskell.
The London side are currently available at 10/1 with Boyle Sports(Go to Boyle Sports ») to win the Guinness Premiership this campaign, while Extrabet(Go to Extrabet ») considers Leicester the 13/8 favourites to claim the title.
