Wilkinson Dropped For Flood

Leicester fly-half Toby flood has been called into the England team for their clash against France.

The away side are 9/2 with Expekt(Go to Expekt ») to win the Six Nations match and coach Martin Johnson has chosen to bring in the player in place of the World-Cup-winning number ten Jonny Wilkinson.

And Flood told BBC Radio 5 Live that he is looking forward to facing a French team that is chasing a grand slam.

"If you want to play international rugby you have to take your opportunities when they come," he added.

Wilkinson sustained a head injury against Scotland during their last encounter but he has still been passed fit.

He will take a place on the bench along with James Haskell and Matthew Tait, who also drops out of the starting 15.

France have odds on 1/6 with Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet ») to complete a clean sweep of victories on home soil, while Blue Square(Go to Blue Square ») rate them at 1/5.
