Phil Godman Signs New Deal With Edinburgh
Edinburgh have been given a boost by the news Scotland fly-half Phil Godman has agreed an extension to his deal with the club.The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him in the black and red for a further two years.
He has been with the Magners League side for six years, having joined from Newcastle Falcons, making 130 competitive appearance and scoring 355 points.
Godman recently lost his place in the national team to Dan Parks and Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat highlighted reclaiming the number ten jersey as one of Godman's main challenges.
Welcoming the new contract, Moffat added: "Phil has been a major player for Edinburgh over the past few seasons and he is very influential in the type of rugby we want to play."
The Scottish side are currently fourth in the Magners League table and travel to face Newport-Gwent Dragons on Sunday, a match for which they are 13/25 favourites with Betfair(Go to Betfair »).
