Marco Wentzel Commits To Leeds

Leeds captain Marco Wentzel has pledged his future to the Premiership club as they seek to stave off relegation.

His side are currently 5/1 with Coral(Go to Coral ») to go down, with only Worcester - 7/50 with Betfair(Go to Betfair ») - at shorter odds than them.

The two teams meet each other on Sunday (April 25th) knowing that a victory could be massive for either club.

Wentzel said: "Hopefully we will have a big crowd behind us because I know it means a lot to a lot of people that we stay up."

He added that his side have "faced some tough challenges" in the division this year, but he believes in the work that Andy Key [director of rugby] and Neil Back [head coach] are doing.

Leeds are six points clear of this weekends opponents with only two games to go, while Newcastle and Sale are also involved in the fight to stay up.
