Steve Meehan Urges Bath To Be Cautious
Bath coach Steve Meehan has insisted that his side will keep their feet on the ground after they continued their recent fine form. His team won their eight match in their last nine with victory over Wasps at the weekend, a result which means they now occupy the final play-off place with a game to go.
They are 6/1 with Totesport(Go to Totesport ») to win the Premiership grand final, while Leicester are the evens favourites with Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet »).
Should they win their last game against Leeds, Bath will definitely be in the end-of-season competition.
"For the first time this season we get the opportunity to play a game knowing that it's in our hands," he added.
Meehan remarked that "work and belief" had been key to turning their season around - the club were in 11th position at the start of the year - but he stated that the team could still be playing better.
