England struggle on day two of the Test
England had a difficult time on day two of the first Test against the West Indies yesterday (February 5th).After being bowled all out for 318 they then struggled to make much of a dent in the field as the hosts eased to 160-1.Andrew Flintoff took the only wicket, dismissing opening batsman Devon Smith for six, before Chris Gayle and Ramnaresh Sarwan chalked up 71 and 74 respectively.England were the favourites to win the Test in the cricket betting going into day two, but the bookmakers now favour a draw, with a West Indies win considered the second most likely result.Despite this, England remain the favourites to win the series outright, with the lowest odds available on a 2-1 victory for the visitors. While the match was being played, the auction for the Indian Premier League took place in Goa.England cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff were both bought for the highest price of .55 million (£1.05 million), with the former going to Bangalore and the latter Chennai.
