Strauss defiant after Windies draw

England cricket captain Andrew Strauss insists the team can still win the Test series against the West Indies, despite a desperately frustrating draw in Antigua. The third Test ended all square with England needing just one wicket for victory. Strauss said his team had done "pretty much everything we could do" and the draw was "hard to take". England had looked in control after rattling up a first innings score of 566-9 declared. They then bowled out the West Indies for 285 but did enforce the follow on. After looking like they were going to tie the series at 1-1 for so long, a ten-over stand from the Windies final batsmen, Daren Powell and Fidel Edwards, frustrated them until bad light agonisingly stopped play. The teams now head for the fourth Test in Bridgetown, Barbados and England have already have fitness doubts over all-rounder Andrew Flintoff. He will have a scan later today on an injured hip and faces a race against time to be ready for the match on February 26th. The West Indies are now favourites in the cricket betting to win the Test series, while the odds on a draw have also shortened.
