Windies stick with current squad
The West Indies have announced an unchanged squad for the final Test against England in Port of Spain, Trinidad.Leading 1-0 after their innings win in Jamaica, the home team have decided to stick with the side that played out a draw in the fourth Test against England in Barbados, along with batsman Lendl Simmons and bowler Lionel Baker. The selectors may be reluctant to change a batting line-up that amassed 749-9 declared in Bridgetown, with Ramnaresh Sarwan leading the way by scoring 291.England's batsmen also scored heavily in the match, which ended with the visitors 279-2 as Alistair Cook converted a half-century into a century for the first time in 12 attempts to end on 139 not out, his highest Test score. This followed a total of 600-6 declared in the first innings, in which skipper Andrew Strauss made 142 and Ravi Bopara 104, his maiden Test century. The West Indies are 2/5 to clinch a series win at the Queen's Park Oval.
