Strauss aiming to 'put the record straight'
England captain Andrew Strauss has expressed his determination to see his side get their two-Test series against the West Indies off to a winning start. The hosts have not taken the opener in their last 14 series - a record stretching back four years. And Strauss stated that he will be "looking for revenge" after a 1-0 defeat in the Caribbean earlier this year."You can't just say it is an unfortunate coincidence when it has happened in 14 series. We want to put that record straight," said the skipper.Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood and Ravi Bopara have recently returned from Indian Premier League action in South Africa - something Strauss noted will serve them well in the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup.But he added that their attention now has to turn to the Test series, for which England are 8/11 favourites with Stan James. The tourists are priced 11/2 by 888Sport, with a draw given odds of 2/1.
