Flintoff decision will be made tomorrow

A decision on whether Andrew Flintoff is to feature in England's Ashes line-up against Australia for the second Test will be confirmed tomorrow morning. The all-rounder has admitted he is "hopeful" of making an appearance in each of the remaining Tests for England after complaining of swelling and soreness in his knee earlier this week. He said: "I've bowled a few overs and we'll make the final decision in the morning, just to check everything is fine - and have another bowl before they announce the final team."Flintoff's statements came at the same time as he announced his retirement from Test cricket after going through two years of rehabilitation in the last four years for various injuries. Denying that the decision was a "knee-jerk reaction", the 31-year-old confirmed it was something he had thought about for some time.
