Clarke and Haddin set up record run chase for Aussies
Australia could achieve a record-breaking run chase after Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin scored an unbeaten partnership of 185 on the fourth day of the second Ashes Test. England started the day by declaring on 311-6, leaving the Aussies a target of 522 to achieve victory. The visiting side looked in trouble early after Andrew Flintoff claimed two wickets within the first ten overs. And captain Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey and Marcus North all fell before the evening session, with the tourists left on 128-5.After tea, Clarke and Haddin put in stellar performances and carried the day out leaving the Australians on 313-5 - with the former finishing on an unbeaten 125 and the latter just 15 short of a century going into the fifth day.
