Flintoff: We can definitely win

All-rounder Andrew Flintoff has confirmed his belief that England can win the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston after the home side scored 376 all out in the first innings.

This put England 113 runs ahead of the tourists going into the second innings, with Flintoff leading the performance by getting a near run-a-ball 74, Sky Sports News reports.

The 31-year-old admitted the team would have liked to obtain a few more runs, but said a few wickets in the fifth-day morning session could set up a memorable game.

He remarked: "It's a game we can definitely win. It's going to be tough but the first session is going to be massive for both sides."

Australia closed the fourth day on 88-2, with Simon Katich caught by Matt Prior from a Graham Onions delivery and captain Ricky Ponting bowled by an excellent spin ball from Graeme Swann.

A draw is considered the most likely outcome for the third Test at Edgbaston with Extrabet(Go to Extrabet ») offering odds of 1/5.
