Freddy fit for final Test

Andrew Flintoff is likely to be fit for the final Ashes Test against Australia at the Oval, according to a statement by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The organisation revealed yesterday (August 10th) that the all-rounder has been seen by his specialist in combination with the ECB and Lancashire county cricket club medical teams in relation to his injured right knee.

With further rest and "intensive treatment", the experts gave the opinion that the 31-year-old will be available for the last npower Ashes Test as the swelling in his leg has "significantly eased".

England go into the final match of the series 1-1 and will need to win the last game to regain the urn from the Australians.
