Australia favourites for Twenty20 clash

Australia are the favourites in the winner-takes-all final one-day Twenty20 cricket match against England later today (September 1st).

While England contained the Aussies to 145-5 during the opener on Sunday, the home side lost two wickets in seven balls when they came in to bat, before the game was called off due to rain.

Debutant to this form of the game Joe Denley was out for a golden duck when he went for a hook shot from a Brett Lee delivery.

Captain Paul Collingwood was quick to defend the starting batsman and said he was pleased he has the "confidence" and "belief" to take on such a stroke.

He remarked: "It didn't come off, but that's the kind of attitude and approach you want from a Twenty20 player who is going to be opening the batting."

Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») currently has the visiting team at 4/6, while odds of 6/5 are available for England with 888Sport(Go to 888sport »).
