Cricket Betting - Australia ODI Odds Affected By Injury Blows?
India have emerged as favourites to win the second match of a one-day international series between themselves and Australia after news that Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson have both been left out of the side through injury. The Aussie bowlers have elbow and ankle damage respectively, so will miss tomorrow's (October 28th) contest in Nagpur, but are said to be likely to appear for the third game in Delhi at the weekend.
"Our medical staff have now decided that while both Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson's injuries have responded well to treatment, they will be severe enough to rule them out of contention for Wednesday's match," said the team's national selection panel chairman Andrew Hilditch.
This spate of injuries means Moises Henriques will be added to the roster for the next three matches, upon which time a review will be taken to assess the situation, Hilditch added.
Those looking to bet on the home side can find them at 8/11 with Betfred(Go to Betfred »), while Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») is offering even odds for an Australia victory.
