South Africa have become favourites to take the one-day international (ODI) series against England following success in the second of two Twenty20 matches between the teams.

The hosts set up an 84-run victory over England after scoring the second-highest total of all time from 20 overs.

By the end of their innings, South Africa reached 241-6 at their home ground, Centurion, reports Sky Sports.

The total was helped by the 170-run partnership that opened the home side's batting from Graeme Smith and Loots Bosman.

England's 157-8 response left stand-in England captain Alastair Cook to tell the sports broadcaster that his team had the belief to overcome the deficit - but not the skills required.
