Cricket Betting News - Anderson 'not At Odds With Jibes'
James Anderson has said that he is happy members of the South Africa team are reportedly trying to unsettle him. Anderson is England's most-capped bowler in the team and stated that as the "leader of the attack" the Proteas may wish to concentrate their efforts on him.
"Maybe they think if they can get to me they can get to the rest of the bowlers," he remarked, adding: "But I don't really get affected by stuff like that."
England are set to face South Africa in the third of five one-day internationals (ODI) on Friday (November 27th) at Newlands and Anderson admitted that with other senior players out, the team lacks experienced bowlers on the world stage.
Despite this, the Lancashire seamer was quick to point out the skills of up-and-comers like Tim Bresnan.
Bookmaker Stan James(Go to Stan James ») currently has England at 11/8 to win the next ODI, while South Africa are 4/7 favourites with Victor Chandler(Go to VCBet »).
