Cricket Betting - Pietersen: Weather Is Frustrating Us
England are disappointed with the weather in South Africa, despite benefiting from the rain, Kevin Pietersen has suggested. The all-rounder said that it has been "very frustrating" to have to remain indoors when everyone in the side wants to go out and play.
A recent one-day international series with South Africa finished 2-1 in favour of the visitors after two fixtures were rained off, but Pietersen claims this is not what the team would prefer.
He remarked: "It's worked in our favour so far, in terms of the results. But we're here to play cricket; we want to play cricket."
According to the 29-year-old, even though the weather has prevented them from training, the squad still has a number of players who are experienced enough at international level to prevail.
South Africa are the favourites going into the upcoming Test series against England, with Totesport(Go to Totesport ») offering odds of 1/2 that they will come away as victors.
Betfred(Go to Betfred ») has England at 3/1 to continue with their winning form.
