Siddle Injury To Affect Australia ODI Odds?

Odds of Australia clinching the third one-day international (ODI) against Pakistan could be affected by an injury sustained by Peter Siddle.

The bowler suffered a sore back during an aggressive streak of bowling in the second ODI on Sunday (January 24th) - a contest the home side won by 140 runs.

Team therapist for the squad Alex Kountouris said: "[Siddle will] be assessed during the course of the day tomorrow when a decision on his availability for the match at Adelaide Oval will be made."

Despite hopes that the 25-year-old will be fit, the Australians have brought in Queensland's Ryan Harris as a potential replacement should Siddle be deemed ineligible to play.

Australia are currently 2-0 ahead in the five-day series and are heavy favourites to clinch victory.

Bet365(Go to Bet365 ») and Paddy Power(Go to Paddy Power ») are offering odds of 7/4 that the Aussies will perform a clean sweep and take all five contests.
